YAKIMA SPEEDWAY WANTS YOU!!!!!

With the formation of the Tri Track Series, Super Late Model drivers in the Pacific Northwest have a viable option. Yakima Speedway is quick to recognize that the so-called "weekend warrior - blue collar racer" has been left out of a fun place to race.

Yakima Speedway's formation of the Late Model Sportsman class gives limited late model and late model sportsman type drivers a fun and competitive place to participate.

With an extremely simple rules package that is "inclusive" and not "exclusive", the weekend warrior will have a level playing field to grab the minimum first place $500 prize money.  Their tire and spec shock rules are specifically designed to keep all cars in check. Remember, if you purchase Yakima tires or spec shocks, you can always sell, trade or lend these to other competitors on the weekends you do not race.

The speedway welcomes ALL Pacific Northwest drivers, Vancouver Island drivers and Western Canadian drivers to come down and give this historic track a try.  Need more information?  Call Tom at 1-360-518-4470.  Schedule coming soon.

I missed on the set up , not right enough, and finished the main 11th right where we started. Not the finish we strived for. All in one piece, next challenge is getting home! Andy Granatelli, the former CEO of STP motor oil company who made a mark on motorsports as a car owner, innovator and entrepreneur, has died. He was 90.
