MEET B.C. OPEN WHEEL CONTENDERS

Teammates Kris McKenzie and Tory Globe are two midget drivers from Abbotsford, BC. Both drivers are competing this year for the championship in the Washington Midget Racing Association, as well as the newly established midget series at Agassiz Speedway.
Both drivers started racing a the age of five at the Langley Quarter Midget track where they both recorded multiple wins and championships in local and regional competition. McKenzie went on to compete in the Hornet class at Agassiz where in his rookie year he won the Hornet Invitational, Rookie of the Year and Class Championship. Last season saw McKenzie take on two new classes; the street stocks where he finished second in points and the midget series where he won the championship; he was also Rookie of the Year in both classes.
Globe went on to Deming Speedway where he ran in the 1200 mini sprint class, and then on to the midget series. Last season Globe won several races at Agassiz Speedway and finished the season second in points. He also was the 2010 crowd-pleaser at Agassiz.
This season McKenzie and Globe will both be looking to repeat last years success at Agassiz; McKenzie driving the #41 Boyd Autobody/Belfor Restoration Beast chassis, Globe in the #11 Hub Fire Engines/Magnum Trailers Beast chassis, as well as competing for the championship in the WMRA series.
