Cucamonga, California

Ryan Partridge won the ultra competitive NASCAR King Taco Super Truck main event for new truck sponsors L.A. Racing and Lucas Oil in his PPL Motorsports Toyota Tundra Saturday night at the legendary 1/2 mile super speedway in Irwindale California.

Partridge and the Scott Appell led team struggled with mechanical issues most of the weekend qualifying 5th for the 18 truck field. Knowing he didn't have the fastest truck,Ryan went to work in the low line at the drop of the green flag picking off the trucks of fast time qualifier Matt Kimball, much improved for 2011 Dennis Arena, and always fast Todd Cameron by lap 18. On a lap 21 restart Ryan, the 2010 Super Truck Champion turned in his fastest lap of the race while capturing the lead from returning Super Truck "hot-shoe" Connor Cantrell. Enduring one final restart on lap 34 Partridge, of Rancho Cucamonga held on for his first Win of the 2011 Super Truck season in front of 5,000+ cheering fans.

From the Winners Circle,Ryan thanked truck owner Steve Latina,L.A.Racing,Lucas Oil and especially the fans at Toyota Speedway@Irwindale.

Ryan's next race will be April 9th, 2011 in the Eshleman Racing #11 Batman Super Late Model car that he won the 2011Toyota All Star Showdown in. Bringing a (new to NASCAR racing) Cutie Pie of a sponsor into the mix thanks to the hard work of B-Rock Entertainment and Dave Eshleman.
