The entry list for the 40th Anniversary Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup at ASA member track Skagit Speedway is growing. With the first evening of competition just one week away the latest to enter the race is Travis Rilat driving a Marc Huson car. Rilat joins a crowded field of talented sprint car racers including defending Dirt Cup champion Shane Stewart and former Dirt Cup champions Jonathon Allard, Jayme Barnes and Brent Kaeding. Other recent entries include red-hot Tim Kaeding and defending track champion Jesse Whitney. Jac Haudenschild will be driving the Danny Kirkpatrick car that won last years event and Sam Hafertepe, Jr. will be in the Rudeen Racing car.
The field is loaded with past Skagit Speedway track champions also. Jason Solwold, Chad Hillier, Barry Martinez and Travis Jacobson will be on hand as well. Jacobson was the most recent 410 Sprint winner at Skagit Speedway.
