Must have proof of current race club membership to race and must be a member in good standing with that club.
Must supply Tech. a copy of your club rules if asked.
You will have to run your club tire. American Racers/Goodyears are the only tires accepted. You must declare the tires you are using at the tech pad by signing a tire sign in sheet. All tires will be marked before you hot lap. Only one new tire will be allowed to be marked on your race car......these are the tires you must qualify on and race on. Only a damaged tire that is presented to tech will be allowed to be replaced with a used tire and the tire must be marked by tech. If you have a flat during the main event you may change the flat tire without penalty.
All cars will weigh 3200 lbs min. Max 55% left side weight and 47% rear weight for qualifying and for after the main event. No fuel to be added to cars after main event.
You may run plastic/fiberglass nose and tail pieces without penalty.
Penalties will be assessed for the following items:
Crate engines add 200 lbs. on top of the 3200 lbs min. with a max left side weight of 54%. The crate engines will run the 5500 rpm chip at all times.
Any cars running headers add 125 lbs on top of the 3200 lbs. min.
Any cars running fiberglass body parts (fenders/ hoods) add 50 lbs (i.e. if you have a crate engine, fiberglass fenders and hood you will have to weigh 3450 lbs min.). More than 3 fiberglass body parts will be considered a complete body. Complete fiberglass body add 100lbs with max 54% left side weight.
No 4bbl carburetors or intake manifolds other than crate engines.
