Derrick Street had the pole for the start of the Rookie Feature with Helen Thorne on the outside. Thorne took over the lead on lap three with Jay Young moving to the second spot while Kevin Dawson took third one lap later. Over the next several laps these three drivers waged a great battle and then on lap nine Glenn Rand got in the mix as did Brenda Leslie on lap eleven joining this group in wheel to wheel racing. On lap fifteen, Dawson went to go inside for the lead and got too much of Thorne's car spinning her around and that allowed Glenn Rand to get by for the lead while Dawson got a black flag. Brenda Leslie, also in this bunch, wound up running in second with Jay Young now in third. At the chequered flag it was Rand coming home with the win followed by Leslie, Young, Kevin Smith, and Kyle Fournier rounding out the top five positions. Her second place finish, in this race, secured the top Bumblebee honors for Brenda Leslie.
Mike Halls and Rocky Sandhu lined up side by side to start the Feature event for the Expert Division with Halls taking the early advantage and leading the first three laps. On lap four Daryl Cahill, after driving through a hole in the middle, grabbed the lead as Cam Stanfield took the same line to take the second spot dropping Halls back to third. On lap eight both Garrett and Ryan Smith made their way through the field to run third and fourth respectively.
Over the next several laps, Cahill and Stanfield built a decent lead over the Smiths until lapped traffic came into play on lap fourteen. As the leaders were trying to pick their way around the two Smiths closed right up on the front runners and actually made a bid to take positions away from the leaders making for some interesting racing. Cahill was able to get through and maintain the lead and went on from there to take his third Feature event in a row. Stanfield also made it through and took second followed by Garrett and Ryan Smith with Karl Parker rounding out the top five positions. Betty Kate was on hand to present all winners with their respective Trophies on this night.
