But that is not the every week goal when the Shaylen Raye Motorsports teams come to the race track. With fast time, a heat race win and a third place in this weekends 410 division at Skagit Speedway already in hand, driver Travis Jacobson jumped in the 360 sprint and told the team to enjoy the show. Then Travis went out and drove the wheels off the 360 car to earn a second place finish in the main event. Car owner Mike Anderson said, “Nobody was going to catch Colton (Heath) the way that car was hooked up. But we were just about perfectly set up and this car performed. I can’t thank the crew and the hard work they have put in especially the last few weeks. We’ve been a little shorthanded with vacations and work schedules, Can’t say enough about the long hours Brandon and Mikala have put in on weekly maintenance after work hours. The team’s dedication puts us in the position we are in to win races.” The Shaylen Raye Motorsports team will have both cars at the 410 and 360 cars at Skagit Speedway this weekend in advance of the World of Outlaws events Labor Day weekend.
