Tiffany Knight MacDonald, who is one of the trophy girls for Agassiz Speedway the last couple years, has been driving the #72 Chevy Street Stock Truck for her dad Paul MacDonald this year at Merritt Speedway "on the dirt".
In her second time at the track she knocked off 2 seconds in her time-in and felt confident about the night ahead. What she didn't know was the track was going to be watered down and very slick wet so she had to learn fast how to handle the truck on a wet surface and came in her trophy dash and heat race in third with no damage to the truck. Then for the main the track was watered down again and with the drop of the green she put her foot down and did two awesome saves from spinning the truck out and keeping it off the the other drivers!
She then played the patience game waiting for the track to dry in her 30 lap main and when it started drying with 10 to go in the 30 lap main she she turned it up and got a respectable 3rd and brought the #72 Chevy Panther Machine, Canadian Shelters, Ride with Pride, Abbotsford Budget Brake & Muffler, truck home safely. This being only her second race on the dirt in the truck she made her team and sponsors proud! She was also interviewed for the Merritt Newspaper!
