Competition Rules and Car Eligibility
• This event will be run in accordance with Las Vegas Motor Speedway rules, the provisions of this entry form, special rules applicable to this event and any amendment(s) made prior to the race date. In the event of a conflict between the LVMS rules and the entry form, the LVMS Race Director’s decision will be final.
• All cars must run 5” springs.
• All cars must pass inspection before entering the track for practice and qualifying.
• Radios are permitted for this event.
• ALL cars will be required to have a transponder at all times; if your vehicle does not have a transponder you will not qualify or be scored. You can buy a transponder at www.mylaps.com or rent one from the track. Transponder will be located no further forward than 15” from the center of the rear axle to the leading edge of the transponder.

Bodies
• All competing cars will be full-sized, stock, American manufactured passenger car bodies.
• Current ABC Body Rules apply. Refer to ABC Rulebook and guidelines for details.
• No under car panning outside of frame rails and no further then drivers’ box front or rear.
• Rear spoiler height may not exceed 6 ½” and may not exceed the maximum length of 60” wide. The maximum width of the spoiler will be measured across the rear of the spoiler.
• All competing cars will be full-sized, stock, American manufactured passenger car bodies.

Tires and Wheels
• Hoosier 2040 is the only tire permitted. Soaking, softening or otherwise altering the composition of tires is not permitted. Tires may be replaced after practice. Cars must start the Feature on the same tires on which they qualified. Only 15” x 8” or 15” x 10” steel wheels are permitted. The use of 15” x 10” steel wheels will result in a loss of 1% left side weight regardless of chassis/engine configuration.
• Tire must be purchased from LVMS approved vendor.
Track width / Wheel Base
• Maximum track width permitted is 68”, front or rear. Measured at spindle height on the inside wheel bead of the right wheel and at the outside wheel bead of on the left wheel.
• Any car competing with a wheelbase less than 105” may not exceed 56% left side weight, minimum wheel base of 101”. All wheelbase measurements will adhere to the ½” plus or minus on the opposite side.

? Any other engine option – 3100 lbs. – 57% left side weight.
? Dry Sump System penalty – add 50 lbs.
? Compression ratio higher than 11.0:1 – add 50 lbs.
• Left-side weight may not exceed 58%. LVMS scales will be the only method for determining a car’s weight.

? The butterflies may be drilled with one idle hole each (maximum of 3/16-in. in diameter).
? Cam and accelerator pump may be replaced with aftermarket parts.
? The choke and linkage may be removed, but screw holes must be filled.
? Power valves, metering blocks and floats may be modified.
? No device to alter air flow may be attached to carburetor air inlet.
• The carburetor for the factory sealed 604 Crate motor must be a “BOX STOCK” Holley 4150 – 650 CFM (P/N 80541-1).

Pit Area Parking
• Pit area parking will be on a first-come, first-served basis; pre-registered participants can park early on Thursday the 3rd.
• All RVs will be charged a $30.00 overnight RV fee for weekend pass.
• Trailers may be left in the pit area overnight. The pit area will be secured each night of the event. You may also leave your trailer in the pit area Saturday night and pick them up Sunday morning. All trailers must be removed from the Bullring pit area by Sunday at 5 p.m.

• No pets of any kind are allowed inside the gates at the Bullring.
• All vehicles must be parked in your pit stall or parked in the lot located outside of the pit area.

Tech Inspection
• All cars must go through tech inspection prior to taking the track for practice. All competing cars will declare their engine combination to the tech department and the vehicle weight will be recorded. The vehicle must adhere to the specifications of such declaration.
• Once you have completed the initial tech inspection, you will not be required to go through tech until prior to qualifying and prior to the Feature. All cars are subject to tech inspection before and/or after qualifying and racing.
• Scales will be set up all weekend for your use in reaching your proper weight for the event.
• Post-feature tech will be required for the Top 3 finishers and any randomly selected competitors.
Race Format (Late Model)
• Feature event will consist of 100 laps.
• All cars must draw for qualifying position prior to 4 p.m. Friday.
• Qualifying will be contested in groups of 4 cars for 3 laps. Failure to present car in order will result in 1 lap at the end of qualifying.
• Top 16 qualifiers transfer directly to the A-Feature and will run the dashes on Friday night to determine A-Feature starting line-up. Odd-numbered qualifying positions (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15) will run Dash #1 and even-numbered qualifying positions (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16) will run Dash #2. The finish order of Dash #1 determines the A-Feature starting line-up for the inside row and the finish order of Dash #2 determines the A-Feature starting line-up for the outside row. The dashes will be 15 laps.
• Qualifiers 17-and-higher will run qualifying heat race(s) on Friday. Odd-numbered qualifying positions (17, 19, 21, etc.) will run Qualifying Heat Race #1 and even-numbered qualifiers (18, 20, 22, etc.) will run Qualifying Heat Race #2. The Top 4 from each Qualifying Heat transfer to the A–Feature. Those transferring from Qualifying Heat Race #1 will start the A-Feature on the inside row (17, 19, 21, and 23) . Those transferring from Qualifying Heat Race #2 will start the A-Feature on the outside row (18, 20, 22, and 24). The heat races will be 15 laps each.
• All other cars not transferring from the Qualifying Heat Race will transfer to the B-Feature. B-feature will be 20 laps.
• Top 2 from B-Feature will transfer to the A-Feature.
• A-Feature will consist of a 26-car field.
• Feature event will consist of 100 laps.
• All cars must draw for qualifying position prior to 4 p.m. Friday.
• Qualifying will be contested in groups of 4 cars for 3 laps. Failure to present car in order will result in 1 lap at the end of qualifying.
• Top 16 qualifiers transfer directly to the A-Feature and will run the dashes on Friday night to determine A-Feature starting line-up. Odd-numbered qualifying positions (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15) will run Dash #1 and even-numbered qualifying positions (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16) will run Dash #2. The Top 4 from each Qualifying Heat transfer to the A–Feature. Those transferring from Qualifying Heat Race #1 will start the A-Feature on the inside row (17, 19, 21, and 23) . Those transferring from Qualifying Heat Race #2 will start the A-Feature on the outside row (18, 20, 22, and 24). The heat races will be 15 laps each.
• All other cars not transferring from the Qualifying Heat Race will transfer to the B-Feature. B-feature will be 20 laps.
• Top 2 from B-Feature will transfer to the A-Feature.
• A-Feature will consist of a 26-car field.
Race Procedures
• All cars will receive a green flag the first time by the flag stand during qualifying.
• All cars must race the A-feature on the tires they qualify on. Competitors may choose to race qualifying heat races and B-Feature on other tires, but must race the A-Feature on their qualifying tires.
• The race start and restart area is the lines painted across the track in turn 4.
• On initial start, all cars must stay behind the car in front of them until crossing the start finish line.
• On restarts, cars may pass on the outside prior to the start/finish line only after green is displayed.
• Any car jumping a start will be penalized the total number of positions gained by jumping the start at the next caution or end of the race whichever comes first.
• The leader must maintain the speed of the pace car until the green is displayed or be penalized to the rear of the field.
• Any driver causing two single-car cautions in one race will be disqualified from that race.
• Rough driving will not be tolerated.
• The “Move-over flag” (blue with diagonal orange stripe) will be used. Lapped traffic must move to the outside to allow the leaders to pass.
• Pit area speed limit is 5 mph for all vehicles. Golf carts, scooters, quads, and/or any other motorized vehicles are not allowed in the pits.
• Cars may be worked on in the pit area during a race and the car may return to the track.
