SURREY, BC (Friday, June 8, 2012) – The ASA Advance Testing British
Columbia Late Model Tour will open their second season this Saturday
night at Agassiz Speedway in Agassiz, BC, Canada. The Late Model stars
of the north will be competing in the Advance Testing 125.
“We can’t wait to open our second season this Saturday night. It has
been a long winter,” John Ross, ASA Advance Testing BC LM Tour President
said. “I know the competitors, crews and race fans are eager to see
some great late model racing. We are ready to go and wave the green
flag to the 2012 season.”
A stellar field of drivers is expected to compete in the Advance
Testing 125 at the quarter-mile, slightly banked, asphalt oval. That
list includes: Geoff Morris, defending series champion; Tom Berrow,
multiple time champion; Korbin Thomas, another multiple time champion;
and Dave Hemrich, who finished second in points last season. Others
include Wade Bland, Rob Angus and more.
The spectator gates will open at 4:30pm with qualifying at 6:00pm. Racing action will get underway at 7:00pm.
