What
a great weekend of racing ,, 20 cars entered the Thunder Mt Speedway
for the first of three race Tri City Shoot out , and a great time was
had by all , Fasted of the bunch was Brian Clutchey from Victoria B.C.
,but the weather proved to take its toll and the Main event was
postponed till sun morn. !4 cars stayed and battled it out to a great
race of 50 laps. #67 of Penticton proved to be the car to beat but after
words was found using the wrong series tires and was penalized
.Cars from Prince George . Penticton , Victoria, Williams lake and
Quesnel where all in attendance . and this Series seems to be the place
to race if your a old time Stock Car racer, Racers of all ages competed
in the series from young drivers to veteran racers such as Arnie Kunka,
Steve Jefferson former Cascar Drivers with Jefferson being the 2000
CASCAR series Champion. The Tms executives put on a flawless show and it
was one the the best show of participation this class of car has seen
in a long while .With this kind of support this series has nothing but
the upside of potential in its future. next race is PGARA SPEEDWAY.Aug
9th and with the succsess of the event cars from all tracks will be in
attendance.The series champ will be crowned at the Quesnel race in late
