Mini Stock racing in the Northwest is looking bright!

After a huge success with the Mini Stock Nationals at the Fall Classic, the Outlaw Compact guys have taken charge to bring several new, exciting ways to battle and have fun in 2015.

The Outlaw Compact series will be a ten race series for points at seven different tracks. All drivers will take their best finishes in the top nine races - this allows one race for drivers that may not be able to make it due to plans, illness, or damage but will not take them out of the running.

Within the ten race series, there will be a separate four race Super Series for drivers that cannot travel to ten races. This will be its own points battle, crowning a separate champion. These will be big payout races at Wenatchee (April 25th-26th), Evergreen (June 13th), Agassiz (July 18th), and will conclude with the Mini Stock Nationals at Yakima’s Fall Classic (October 3rd-4th). This series will also have a one race drop; if you cannot travel to all four you can still make three and shoot for the title.

Finally, Outlaw Compacts are pleased to introduce the CAN-AM Challenge. This will be a two-race points battle starting with the Agassiz Speedway race in July and end with the Mini Stock Nationals in Yakima. Can you take home the Can-Am Cup for your home country? That’s right -a Special Can-Am Challenge Cup will be given to the points-champion of these two races

Membership and schedule information will be put out at the first of the year. We are working on locking down a few more sponsors to add some awesome perks for the season, so be sure to let us know if you plan to run the Outlaw or Super Series in 2015.

Do you have what it takes to bring home one, two, or all three Crowns?!? There is only one way to find out!

602 CRATE NOW AT SOUTH SOUND

The Late Model engine update:

150 lbs weight break for 602 crate engine. This is the engine of the future for this class to be based on. In 2016 open engines will only be allowed a 4412 2 barrel carb.  There will be added weight for larger than 360 cubic inch at that time and the 602/604/347 weight will be adjusted. In 2017 the hope is that a large percentage of competitors will run the 602 crate and the larger than 360 cubic inch engines will no longer be allowed.
