In the NASCAR world, crew members are the backbone of the team that helps a driver achieve success on the track. Often times the person leading the way behind the scenes is the crew chief.

This week's NASCAR Canadian Tire Series crew profile features Derek Lynch, an accomplished former racer and current crew chief for the No. 21 A&W Cruisin' The Dub Dodge team and driver Jason White.

Started racing stock cars at 14 years of age and won a Peterborough Speedway championship at age 15. ... Competed in NASCAR K&N Pro Series East before moving on to the CASCAR Super Series and the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. ... Won NASCAR Canadian Tire Series event at Cayuga Motor Speedway on Sept. 1, 2007. Also worked with Bobby Allison Motorsports, Darrell Waltrip Motorsports, Dale Earnhardt Inc., and Stavola Brothers Racing as a fabricator.
