This Saturday Night at Western Speedway, Richlock Rentals presents the WILROC Non Wing Sprint Cars, Island Series Stock Cars and the IMS4 Mini Stocks at the fast 4/10ths paved oval in Langford.
The fast growing and very popular WILROC Non Wing Sprint Cars will be in action for there fifth points race of the 2011 season this Saturday night. Jesse Dardengo is the current points leader on the strength of two feature wins including last weekends win at Saratogo Speedway, Dardengo leads Deter Lejeune by 6 points 449 to 443. Dardengo's teammate Chris Root holds down third position with 426 points, followed by Ron French with 360 points and Wayde Heckford in fifth with 339 points. Other feature winners include Dale Robinson and Rob Haslam.
In the Island Series Stock Car Series, defending Points Champion Ryan Wade took over the top spot in the point standings, after early season points leader Aaron Wilke has problems in the feature at the last event, while Wade capitalized and won his third straight main event feature. Wade has a 35 point lead over Wilke going into Saturday Nights event. Dave Reside continues to hold down third position with 803 points, followed by top Rookie of the Year contender Cody Auman from Duncan at 779 points. Chris McInerney rounds out the top five with 760 points.
Alex Mouner continues to lead the IMS4 Mini Stocks Series Points Championship with 923 points, 67 more than his closest rival Matt Szauer who has 856 points. Mouner who looks like he is on his way to his second Championship, had his three win main event streak broke at the last event as Agassiz Speedway vistor Aaron Willison won the 20 lap feature. Former Champion Gilles Parenteau sits in third position with 812 points, followed by Jeremy Waksel with 801 points and top Rookie driver Sean Staniforth with 742 points.
