   Kelly Hart - Skagit Speedway

Skagit Speedway has confirmed two more entries for the 40th Anniversary Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup.

Today Kevin Rudeen confirmed that Sam Hafertepe, Jr. will be driving the Rudeen Racing entry in this years event. Hafertepe has been running in selected events around the country after a few years following the World of Outlaws circuit. Expect the Rudeen crew to have immaculately prepared sprint cars for this Texas native to pilot June 16th through 18th.
It was with much anticipation that the sprint car world awaited the announcement of who would drive the Kirkpatrick Motorsports entry in this years Dirt Cup. The car is the defending champion car of the event and this year with Shane Stewart bringing the Paul Silva #57 Rockstar car to the party, that left the seat wide open. After a nationwide search for talent, Danny Kirkpatrick has announced that Sprint Car Hall of Fame and fan favorite Jac Haudenschild will be behind the wheel.
Skagit Speedway Promoter Steve Beitler commented, "this years field of cars is really loading up. We expected that with the record setting $40 thousand dollar to win purse. I get more excited every day to see who is going to enter next!"

The 40th Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup will be held June 16th-18th at Skagit Speedway with the Dirt Cup party held on the race track grounds this year. The Dirt Cup party will feature a live band, open concession stand, various vendors and activities as well as an open beer garden and is Wednesday June 15th.
