Wolfe captures Lucas Oil Super Stock victory at Montana Raceway Park

KALISPELL, Mont. (June 4, 2011)-For race fans at Montana Raceway Park the thrill of watching Cory Wolfe wheel a race car on any given weekend always brings the crowd to their feet and Saturday night was no exception. The past Montana 200 champion brought out his Lucas Oil Super Stock for a night at the track and did not disappoint en route to a well-earned victory.

Jumping out to an early lead and withstanding a late race restart to take the 40-lap main event victory, Wolfe had the crowd on its feet in a thrilling main event.

“We always try to get some seat time here at (Montana) Raceway Park,” Wolfe said in victory circle. “With the (Montana) 200 coming up here soon laps on the track can always help to get ready for that one.”

Don Staggs continued his strong run in the division as he and Giles Thornton raced side-by-side over the races final 5 laps in an effort to settle second place. Thornton moved to the high side with two laps to go and nosed out in front of Staggs at the stripe by just .085-seconds for the runner-up finishing position.

Adam Kinkel and Tim Hatlen rounded out the top-5.
