Western Speedway has made a stipulation and a request that the steering systems that are allowed for the ASA BC Late Model Tour Canada 200 September 3, 2011 are as follows.
All cars that have these stock components on the front steering system located in stock location will receive a 100 lb. weight break.
Clarification of parts:
- Stock 6 inch idler arm with no modifications (may be slotted for bump steer adjustment, stock length)
- Stock Camaro centerlink with no modifications, or stock Howe replacement centerlink (part number 23396)
- Stock pitman arm or stock replacement Howe pitman arm (part number 2349), no modifications allowed
- Spindles can be reamed for top and bottom ball joints and drilled for tie rod ends (no other modifications allowed)
- Stock steel GM steering box
- No slugged or slotted lower control arm mounts (must be in stock location and non-adjustable)
- All other 2011 ASA BCLMT rules still apply
