PENTICTON, BRITISH COLUMBIA - After a year of
learning with the Race 101 program based in Charlotte, North Carolina that
consisted of several trips to NASCAR country and weekly online seminars, Sarah
Cornett-Ching graduated from the class, earning one of the highest awards that
was given out as she claimed the Marketing Excellence award for her social
networking skills that she gained throughout the
program.
Winning the award has given Cornett-Ching some added
confidence going into 2012, where she will run for the championship in the ARCA
Ok Tire Series. The knowledge that
she has learned from the Race 101 school will certainly pay dividends as the
team prepares for the upcoming season and seeks additional marketing partners to
reach her goals for the new year.
"I am proud to win the Race 101 Marketing Excellence
Award because I am being recognized for all the media efforts and publicity we
received this year, says Cornett-Ching.
“Racing isn’t possible without the marketing side of the sport, and that
can be easily forgotten."
In addition to a full time ride in the ARCA West
Series, Cornett-Ching also hopes to put together a ride in the NASCAR Canadian
Tire Series again this year at her home track Motoplex Speedway in Vernon,
British Columbia, and also hopes to run in the NASCAR event at Auto Clearing
Speedway in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
"We are really focused on our ARCA Series program for
2012”, she adds. ”With all that
we have learned over the past year, and our equipment that we have going into
the new season we feel that we have a great shot at the ARCA West
Championship. With Snap On Tools
coming back on board and the addition of Underwriters Insurance as a Marketing
Partner, we are very confident going into the new
season”.
While Cornett-Ching has been busy getting ready for
the new season, she still managed to find the time to help those in need. She cut her hair and donated it to
charity, and she also donated blood.
In fact, she has already been informed that the blood that she donated
helped save a life.
2012 is shaping up to be a great season
for Sarah Cornett-Ching. With the
power of marketing behind this young energetic racer, it may be the perfect fit
